Who can apply for the program?

Only in-service secondary level (6-10 class) English Language Teachers of Government or Foundation schools can apply for the program.

Do I need No Objection Certificate (NOC) from my institution to travel

You do not need a NOC from your institution at this stage but it’s a mandatory element once your selection is confirmed for the program (doesn’t apply to teachers from foundation schools). However, you are required to provide Institutional Support and Reference Form (ISRF) stamped and signed by your institution to prove your identity as an in-service English Language Teacher.

Where will the interviews take place?

As the program accepts applications from all across Pakistan so the interviews will take place in Islamabad and Karachi. Vision- Building Future will administer the travel and accommodation for the shortlisted candidates travelling from far flung areas. Shortlisted candidates from Rawalpindi/Islamabad, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK), Gilgit Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) will travel to Islamabad for the interview while the shortlisted candidates from Sindh and Baluchistan will travel to Karachi for the interviews.

What is a foundation school?

Foundation schools are funded by central government via the local education authority, and do not charge fees from students. In addition to that, foundation schools are also those schools that are not funded by the government only, but function under non-profit foundations, trusts, etc. These schools should have a somewhat well-established on-the-ground network, almost a parallel system or link to the Government run schools, especially where Government schools are nonexistent.
