TEA program is for in-service, secondary level (6-10 class) English Language Teachers from the Government or Foundation schools.
Hundred candidates from all across Pakistan will be selected to participate in the TEA program. These participants will travel to the United States in different cohorts.
No, as this program is only for in-service, secondary level English teachers of government and foundation schools.
Yes, you will require NOC from your institution for travel once you are selected for the TEA program.
The interviews will be conducted virtually.
No, dependents are not allowed on this program.
Yes, you can apply. However, your main subject of teaching must be English.
Yes, teachers of semi-government schools are eligible to apply for this program.
A foundation school is funded by central government via the local education authority, and does not charge fees from the students. In addition to that, a Foundation school can also function under non-profit foundations, trusts, etc.
